Key Responsibilities for Exercise Professionals
Lead Group Exercise Sessions: Conduct engaging and motivating group exercise sessions, focusing on cardiovascular fitness, strength training, flexibility, and overall physical activity.
Provide Personalised Exercise Guidance: Offer individualised exercise advice and modifications to meet the diverse needs and abilities of participants, promoting adherence and progress.
Educate on Physical Activity: Educate participants on the importance of regular physical activity for weight management and overall health, emphasising sustainable lifestyle changes.
Ensure Safe Delivery of Exercise: Prioritise participant safety during exercise sessions, adhering to best practices and guidelines for exercise prescription and supervision.
Monitor Participant Progress: Track and evaluate participants' fitness improvements and weight loss milestones, adjusting exercise plans as necessary to optimise outcomes.
Maintain Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of participants' attendance, progress, and any relevant health concerns, providing regular reports to programme coordinators.
Support Behavioural Change: Assist participants in adopting positive behavioural changes related to physical activity and exercise habits, promoting long-term adherence to healthy lifestyles.
Requirements:
Certified Personal Trainer with a recognised qualification (e.g., CIMSPA Level 3 or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of exercise principles, nutrition, and weight management strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with participants.
Ability to adapt exercise programmes to cater to various fitness levels and abilities.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
